It’s time to unleash your 3D powers, we’ve teamed up with Instructables for the biggest 3D printing contest of 2016!

The challenge: write an Instructable about your 3D printed creations sharing how you did it, and submit your project to the contest to win some of the awesome prizes. Did we say prizes? You can win 15 (!) of the best 3D printers today in 3 different categories:

Best Instructable (open category):

3D models, projects with 3D printed parts, or any other 3D printing-related project.

Prizes: BEETHEFIRST, CEL Robox, Craftbot Plus, LulzBot Mini, DeltaWASP, MakerGear M2, Witbox 2, Rostock Max, Ultimaker 2 Extended+

Ultimaker prizes for best fully 3D printable Instructable:

Projects that are 100% printable or just need a few screws to get their final shape and function.

Prizes: Ultimaker 2 Extended+, Ultimaker 2+, Ultimaker 2 Go

Zortrax prizes for best health-related project:

Assistive technology, ergonomic builds, bio related, or anything that makes lives better.

Hi Agustin! Legally yes (laws doesn’t facilitate contest in some countries…), but luckily there is a loophole. If the prize can be shipped to an eligible country (you have a shipping address there, friends, family or there are some online services for this etc.) then you can enter.

Last resort we’ll also try to help out, so I’d still encourage you to submit any projects you have!

Technically, France is not included due to local laws. But if you can find a way to get the prize shipped to any of the countries above (you have a shipping address there, friends, family or there are some online services for this etc.), then it’s all good. In the end we can also help out.

I’d encourage you to enter the contest, and if it comes to the delivery of prizes, we’ll figure it out.

Multiple winners in each category, as I understood anyway! Entrants are in with a chance of winning one of 15 printers, 3DHubs vouchers and instructables goodies.

Theres been so many entries it would be great to see more 3DPrinting prizes: a few ideas would be exciting filaments, slicing software, build surfaces, finishing tools, gadgets, books, maybe autographed bits and peices from key 3DPrinting people - reprap youtubers etc!

Not to mention that there is a category for “Best Instructable”. This could be about designing something for 3D Printing. No actual printing required. Best type of contest - it can be entered by people with no ready access to a printer. (and by people with access to a printer as well - or printed via a hub.)

Here’s a copy of what I received last thursday:

which means it it should have been last Monday (yesterday). I even allowed time for the time zone difference but it looks like they overran that deadline again!
