Okay so here’s the deal,
The printer was working awesome (for a V3…) until the extruder drive belt fell off. That would be all fine and dandy if the hood came off. But to the best efforts of everyone I know, it hasn’t. It’s sorta become the Sword In The Stone of our town. We’ve tried all ‘tips and tricks’ designed to get the hood off, holding in the release mechanism, giving the front a little tap, but it seems to be impossible to remove. All other forms of getting the hood off (like unscewing it) are also impossible because no matter where you position the hood, there is always one set of screws inaccessible to a mortal screwdriver, meaning that the hood is one stubborn thing. This problem has rendered the printer a VERY expensive paperweight, and I would like to fix this problem post haste. Attempts to contact Eaglemoss staff have lead to much frustration and no response to the issue, so I turn to you, 3D Hubs citizens, I need your help
Thank you in advance
