Hi Guys, I have been using my Up! Mini printer for nearly 2 years and it is still going strong. Love the printer and I hope you keep designing perhaps the most robust, affordable 3D printer. Love your work!!!

I totally agree. Mine keeps marching on, despite some tiny flaws that can easily be fixed :). Like the magnets not holding my extruder in tight enough…

Awsome printers, I’ve got the 3 printers from PP3DP/TierTime and they are great !
And recently, on the official forum, someone has uploaded a tool to change temperature (Fix Up 3D on google) !
I prefer the UP Plus 2 to the UP Box, even if the build plate is larger…

Up mini Rocks. Though my first one suffered a motherboard breakdown after 2 years, I didn’t hesitate to buy me a new one. They became a lot cheaper then my first one fortunatly, and I love it. Always nice prints. Especially with ABS. One of the best.

I have mine for just over one year now and it’s awesome!!
I always recommend it to people who want to start 3D printing because it’s so plug and play!
Same here. My UP Plus 2 really is a Professional Plug & Play 3D Printer. I just so happen to be a Tiertime reseller. They have a new one called the UP Box. Larger build volume, faster.

Just thought I’d take a second to plug the fume extractor I designed for the Mini that fits any old 60mm 12V fan and a cheap $3 hepa filter. I love my unit too, but I still don’t trust being around ABS fumes at all times so I made this to ease my mind a little.

This looks great, do you have any photos of it on the machine?
Can you share why you prefer the Plus 2? I’m considering the Box especially for it’s built-in HEPA filter.

The filter on the BOX is superb, really impressed with it. Even the lowest quality, smelliest ABS works great.

Wow I just checked your hub - a lot of happy customers.
Could I ask if you use the Box in a well ventilated area? Unfortunately the only option I have if I’m going to get a printer at all is to have it basically in the family living room and I’m very concerned about the health risks.
I might be able to mitigate that by using mostly PLA but - does the Box handle PLA well without needing to open the enclosure? I saw you have it on your hub as a regular material.
My office isn’t well ventilated at all (unless I open a window). The Hepa filter does and amazing job.
The Box prints PLA great without opening the enclosure but I mostly only print ABS and it is fine, even better if you use the original UP ABS (the matte stuff).

Great to hear! To make sure I understand, you mean the ABS vs ABS+ right? Have you used Nylon or any other kind of non-abs/pla?
Both ABS and ABS+ are great but I found that ABS is more odourless. I only know this because I opened the door mid-print. Under normal use you won’t notice the difference.
Take the plunge, you won’t regret it!

The UP mini 2 has a HEPPA filter built in! It also has wireless connectivity so theoretically you don’t need to be near it anyway haha

Thanks for your advice - I did just get one. It’s been more hassle than I thought it would be, but the quality when it works is great! The enclosure and filtering have been doing their job well also.
