There appears to be random areas on my print that possibly have been under extruded. This error only appears on the vertical walls, mainly on the inside. The outside of the walls are fine. (as seen in the images of Example 1)

Example 1 (Outside of Wall)

I had noticed after the print finished, the spool of filament was slightly tangled. Could be the reason why, but seems odd that it only happens in some areas and not others.

I’m new to this website, not sure if I need to say what printer i’m using. It’s a ‘Cocoon Create Touch’ (a re-brand of the ‘Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus’). I used PLA.

If anyone has an idea as to why this error has happened, and if they know a solution to correct it, it is much appreciated.

What slicer, temps, speed etc.?

Using a version of Cura made for the specific printer. Bed temp around 60. Extruder temp around 200. Can’t remember the exact speed I use, could’ve been around 50 or 80 (not able to check right now, but can get back to you in a bit if necessary) Thanks

Temps seem ok for PLA. I’d slow way down depending on how fast it is set at. Maybe 2000mm/min. and see how it does.

Also what was the layer height? Always start out with a .2 to get things dialed in.

Layer heights were all good, just the average height suggested online etc.

I will try slowing down the printer though, seems the most logical reason right now.

Will respond back to let you know how that goes.

Thanks
