I installed a mosfet for my hotbed on a Anet A8. The wiring is proper according to all diagrams I’ve seen, I added a seperate power supply just for that. 12V from the power supply is fine until I have the printer preheat, and then the hotbed power supply goes dead and stops sending current at all. If I shut everything off and try again, the power supply works, all the way until the printer tells it to heat the bed. The LED under the bed flickers and then goes off and the power supply shuts off again. On the mosfet, the red LED goes on when power is turned on, but then when the mother board sends a signal to heat, the blue LED goes on and the red one goes off.Any help or insight would be great, thanks in advance.
First thought is you are drawing too much from the PS.
