Trouble Printing

I am only able to print things with a small base on my Flashforge Finder. The filament does not stick to the build plate and moves all around. I am using PLA and I have painters tape on my build plate. My MakerBot has no problems but this printer prints almost nothing correctly.

Yes, i know that problem. Solved it by leveling the build plate at first. Must be done properly. Maybe try several times leveling and make some test prints.

make sure first layer sticks properly. After that use a glue stick. that can also help.

Hi!
Try Elmer purple glue stick instead of blue painters tape. We print with the finder almost 24hr on 24 since 2 month and the printer work very well.

You can set the first layer to 0.2mm to help PLA to stick on the bed and glue stick is a must!

Give hairspray a try, i tried tape and glue to no avail. Switched to strictly using hairspray and have not had an issue since.

Elmers. All-purpose. Put a thin layer right on the tape.
