Hi,

I was hoping that my first post was going to be a successful print of prosthesis for my recently amputated fingers… oh, those were such sunny days, full of hope and pain killers.

No, instead its just more pain killers… for the headache that my new TronXY X5S-2E is giving me. Specifically with respect to the included control board:

I knew i was in for a good “challenge” when the image of the control board on the instructions and various build videos didnt match the one included in my kit. After scratching off a QA sticker, I discovered that board I received was a ZRIB V1.1 with an Arduino Mega 2560 chip with no firmware installed. While the part that everyone else had was labeled TRONXY V3 – 1 . 0

After 2 days of trying to get the ZRIB board to work (I was amusing that this was some sort of very recent upgrade to the kit…), I am of the conclusion that they sent the wrong part… can anyone confirm this before I get MORE frustrated with gearbest’s support? Also, does anyone know the gearbest item code for the tronxy x5s-2e? (its not on the box, or on the website from what I can see, and gearbest support is asking for it…
