Trend Report - Is it relevant

Hi All

I have hade a look at the latest trend report.

Of the ten data sets discused only two relate direct to 3D printing the rest is about 3D Printers.

I would have liked to see a but more about the actual trends in printing on a granular level.

Have any of you guys that do printing work got opinions on this.

Could you specify, what actual trends within 3D printing would you be interested to know about?

I am intrested in the trends in printing not the printers.

So like the weekly or monthley orders for areas (value and number) to get a idea how big the industry is, spesialy at the buro level.

The total value for the catagories would also be nice.

The point is that the information is data poor and give little or no insight into global as well as local trends on the printing side.

Hi Dirk, thanks for reaching out to Talk! We’re always working on improving the trend report and are obivoulsy very happy to hear feedback and ways to improve it. So if you have more suggestions on what you’d like to read in the report, we’d definitely want to know about them. Anything else besides the value per categories? @Bali, what do you think? I feel that the current data provided is very usefull and does provide a lot of inside information-maybe not direct but indirect could be very usefull to discover trends- influence opinion and give a guideline.
