It was great to see so many familiar faces. Thank you to everyone who made it out. It was a good time learning about the different offerings from @ColorFabb.

In particular, we were surprised at how easy the specialty filaments were to work with. Both the Carbon FIber and BambooFill printed successfully, with very little effort, by using the recommended settings. The XT copolyester, and the Carbon FIber XT proved to be very tough materials indeed. The layer adhesion is phenomenal. With the Carbon FIber XT, the entire print seemed almost homogenous, as if the layers had fused and bonded together completely. We were quite impressed.

There will be more events to come for Vancouver; perhaps a 3D scanning party? Let me know in the comments below if that’s something you’d be interested in attending in Vancouver.
