How do you test a prototype that has been 3d printed and created for a consumer product?

Hey there. Rather depends what the product is but there are companies that specialise in ensuring that a product complies with all relevant legislation in a given geography. Most governments will have a website that allows you to get info on the regulations too.

Hi Prateek, I guess it depends on the product, but usually starting with a focus group that can test the prototype and identify faults and problems is a good idea. Hope this helps

Thank you Gabriela, Yes, we have thought of a focus group but these are very expensive to create for a startup and hence are looking at other avenues.

Where do you want to test it for? That matters a lot. Is it strength, food safety, conductivity, or what not?
