Wondering if anyone can help me on this. I am trying to print something big with t-glase although it always stops mid-print. It stops extruding. How do I make sure this doesn’t happen?

I have tries several temperatures and then I found one that works but now it’s doing this.

Taulman are recommending a 0.4mm nozzle for what you have in mind. Maybe you could give us a bit more info on your set-up?

which printer?

I am using a makerbot rep 2x. So the nozzle is right…it is 0.4mm.

I have a extruder temp of 230C and bed temp of 60C. It starts off really well but unable to complete any job successfully as the extrusion stops and the filament gets blocked. Maybe I need to regularly pause my print and just load the filament hence pushing it through to make sure it last for another short while…

We find that printing at 240C with a 75C bed temp and print speed of 30mm/s gives the best results. It might also be worth increasing the flow rate to 120% if you are experiencing blockages.

So I think I know what the problem is. The extruder has to be cleaned throughly to get a good constant flow rate. I managed to really unclog the extruder with acetone and other tools (even though there was no visible clogging) and then I was able to print from start to finish.
