hi all. I have a Monoprice Maker i3 (Wanhao Duplicator) that has been printing beautifully for the past month. Out of the box all I really did was level the bed and I was off and running. Now all of the sudden, I can’t complete a single print without the corners or edges warping so bad that eventually the extruded just knocks the part off the bed. I’ve releveled the bed over and over and I’m now pretty positive that bed leveling is not the issue. I’ve also been printing with the same g-code settings every time (same extruded temp, bed temp, layer height, etc), and I’ve also been using the exact same roll of white Hatchbox PLA. I’m kind of dumbfounded on how or why this has suddenly started happening. Does anyone have any advice?

Did you check that your cooling fan is still functional? The filament may also have absorbed water, in which case, you can try baking it in the oven for a few hours.

The fan is an option that I hadn’t thought of. I’ll check that out.
Both fans are functioning normally. Back to the drawing board…
I solved my problem. The printer came with a second adhesive buildtak pad. I applied the new one and I haven’t had a problem since. Wondering if those pads have some sort of finish applied that eventually wears off or if I needed to rub it down with alcohol or something.

Having a clean build surface will help a lot, I always wipe my build plate down with a bit acetone if I feel the plate is dusty/dirty. Glad to hear your problem was solved!
