Hello,

I have a MPM V1 which has run flawlessly for 18 months. The last print I tried (ABS) when I preheated the hot end, temp went to 180°C on display and stopped, but I wanted 235°. At that point machine was smelling hot and ABS flowed easily thru extruder. I flipped off power and back on to kill heating. At that point display showed over 300°! I replaced thermistor with new one of same type (hot end is stock) and it did the same thing. Yesterday I tried homing printer and it moved down to build plate, then off to X+ and stopped moving.

Question: does anyone think the motion control board is bad? BTW, this board is of the newer design.
