Hi Guys,
Since I have a small space dedicated to my printer, I decided to design a Spool Wall Rack with space saving in mind. I found some existing models that orient the spool parallel to the wall surface, but this kind of solution uses a lot of space, so I thought about orient it perpendicular to the wall. Besides space saving, other advantages are that the colour of the filament is easier to see and in this way is easier to pick up, specially if it stands in a high level from the ground. The Design has a strong structure , doesn’t need any printing supports and it is optimised for the best printing quality on FDM printers.
I hope you like it.

@Daan_3D @ This sounds like a plan for our New maker - space. What do you guys think?

Nice, looks cool for sure. Love it how you can see the color better due to the orientation.
Thanks for always sharing your awesome designs with us! Hope you’ll consider being part of the #WeAre20K campaign - you can see the already featured Hubs on our homepage. Cheers

What about humidity issues? wont it become an issue with keeping them in open air ?
Sofar I am putting the spool back in box with the gel bag everytime, and only leaving the last used color exposed, which I am considdering making a enclosure for also.
I am sure it looks cool with all the colors on the wall!
Are you concerned about storing it out in the open? I always see the desiccant pack in the bags.
