I have been using Slic3r for 6 years now and never had an issue with it crashing. When I try to slice a fan mount for my delta printer, slic3r crashes when it is generating support material. When I looked at the resource usage of my computer while it was slicing and the cpu was at 5%, the gpu was at 0% and the the ram didn’t budge from the usual 9% when not under load. I tried changing the number of cores available but that just changed the amount of time it took to crash. I also tried reducing the resolution of the model and messing with the support settings to no avail. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? My computer has duel xeon E52683 V3s, with 28 hyper threaded cores total, 128gb of ddr4 RAM at 2133Mhz, and an Nvidia gtx1070. It is running Windows 10 Education.
