Hi,

My name is Tony and I am a jr. high teacher in St. Albert. We recently purchased a Replicator + and we have been running a number of test prints. Some of these prints include geometrical shapes which our grade nine kids have generated. I am wondering whether any of you could recommend an instructor who may be willing to come by the school for a couple of visits to train myself and a few of our kids on Sketch Up Pro. In the past we have had outside instructors for Arduino and basic coding sessions.

Thank you for your help.

Tony

Sketchup stinks for 3d printing. You would be better learning tinkercad, 123d design, fusion 360, or anything else besides sketchup

Thanks for the reply. I have been recommending Tinkercad, however, a number of our gr. 9 kids have used Sketch up in their math class to generate their geometrical designs. A couple of other kids have submitted Tinkercad designs.

I am hopeful that someone on the forum who has some experience teaching these programs may be willing to work with us.

Tony
