Hello,
I was looking at this video of a great statue (in my opinion). I’m wondering how to configure the setting where no infill is generated but the walls are extra thick. As you can see the walls have a percentage of infill themself.
Any idea how to do this? I printed a groot myself last night with 20% infill and it seems I have wasted material. Don’t worry, it was only 10cm high

This groot is a special 3d model. While most 3d models are solid, this one is carved out on the inside, you can find it on thingiverse (link following). I assume, that you have found the wrong model.

Groot Bust Sculpture by Doodle_Monkey - Thingiverse download the “GrootThickShell” model, this is what you are looking for.
PS: Such a setting isn’t possible with any slicer, that I know. You could only print with 0 infill percent and very thick outlines, but that also costs a lot of material.

Ahh, that makes perfect sense. Thanks a lot, I didn’t notice it and when I saw the YouTube video I was hoping that the slicers could do this. Learning every day. Cheers
