Not sure if I am alone in this but on Simplify 3D recently has been really buggy with randomly putting solid infill on parts of models. Now when I say random I mean random! This is annoying because some times it does it on a model and some times it doesn’t. Anyone have inputs on this? If I can catch this on my computer I will photograph it for you guys!

Overall Simplify 3D has been good but this is making no sense.

It’s a bug in simplify 3D and it’s not solid infill but bridging. The solution is to adjust your layer height by 0,001mm. So let’s say if you want a layer height of 0,2 mm you put in 0,201mm and the random infill disappears. I hope this helps

Thanks that just saved my butt. S3D is a great piece of software its just that little glitch is REALLY irritating -_-

Hi, my solution for this bug is to increase the first layer thickness 1%.

Cheers Jan
