My shoe laces are always untying themselces. Ido like to make a Shoelace ratchet but am stuck on sketch up trying to make the ratcheting mechanism.

Hi Robert! I’m not sure this is a forum for modeling help. In any case, I think you’d probably need to give us more information about what you’re trying to do, because I don’t really follow what your shoelace ratchet is supposed to look like. There is a ready-made solution that may fit your purposes. Have you seen Klots? Klöts (Quick shoe ties) by Kart5a - Thingiverse 2 -Karl

The ratcheting shoe lace, I’ve seen on shoes looks like a ratchet with holes through it for the laces to wind around. A push button on a spring would release the ratchet.
