Hey Guys,

I’m quite new on 3D Hubs and 3D printing in general and I’m currently working on a custom case for a FPGA Board.

I’ve already printed a prototype of the case but I would like some help on what I should change to make sure the parts prints fine, the best way to fasten the whole thing together (I’m looking at using hex bolt nut) and what would be the best material to use for this print.

The hub that I’ve used kindly divided the part in 3 from the STL (I thought it could be printed as a whole) and was very helpful but now I’m trying to do it in a proper way for my next print.

The case consist in 3 parts: the back-plate, the base and the front panel, I’ve attached the 3 STL.

Any comments are more than welcome!

Nic I see no problem , if you adjust the inner frontpanel a little you will avoid ussing support and then you can print bottom and front in one, or should it be separate

Thanks for the feedback, if I could print the base and front together that would save me some hassle :slight_smile:

However not sure what you mean by adjusting the inner frontpanel, just make it a bit thicker?

I have access to a Zortax M200, that printer should be able to do it without too much troubles?

Just adjust the angle as in attachement and merge them together, now you only have minimum support in the small holes, Nic!
