My k200 delta printer recognizes that there is an sd card plugged into it but when i go to print there are no files shown in the sd card. I sliced my object and took the gcode and put it on the flash drive. Any tips or ideas on how to fix this?
Not familiar with the printer but here are some things to check.
Size of the card may need to be 2gig or smaller.
Do not use “folders” on the card.
Keep file names very short.
Also does this printer use G-Code or X3G?
I went ahead and bought several different types of sd cards. Then i tried each one and i found one that works. It has folders on it oddly enough, and it still worked. It uses G-code
It was just ideas! Some firmwares don’t like folders and some limit the size to pretty small etc.
What did you find that worked? Just for reference.
Yeah i agree with that. The SD card that i found worked was a Toshiba 2GB memory card.
Where the others 2gig also or bigger?
they were all 2 gig bc i wasn’t sure if the printer could handle it. But bigger sd cards might work but for me 2 gig’s is enough for what i am doing.
