Hi, I’m looking for anyone in the NYC area who can scan and print replacement parts. I have to replace a small motor drive for an otherwise perfectly functioning blender/food processor combo.

I have the broken one which would need to be scanned and cleaned up in CAD before being printed and fitted. Photos are attached, it’s only a little over an inch in diameter.

Obviously, it’s not an expensive job, and I can always purchase a new unit, but I’d prefer to replace a single piece of plastic and keep the old one out of the landfill/recycling bin. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks!

Scanning will not get you a model that you can print and function, If you scan in the orientation of the left photo, you will not get the internal structure. The best way to get this done is to build a 3D model from scratch in a CAD program. You can probably do this with a scale (ruler) in mm. I have done this and is not a huge job, probably .5 hours if I had the part. You can look up my hub to see stuff that I have printed
