@Aniwaa we had a Scannerparty this week with Erwin Kanters as a speaker, he is the owner of the company 3Dscansolutions; www.3dscan.solutions 2 and the Benelux (Europe) dealer for Artec scanners. He himself uses the Eva, but I bet he also has experience with the Spider. He is also on 3D Hubs since last week, as a person and with his own hub, but I have not been able to find him yet on here. Hope this or he will be able to help you out.

kind regards,

Frank

I’ve been doing some research into getting a hand-held scanner for my work which would allow a wide range of benefits. I’ve been consistently impressed with the Space Spider’s results and reviews. I’ve gotten a few raw scan files from a local representative and I was really impressed with the quality, especially considering how quickly the scan was completed. Definitely worth considering if you’re a small business with scanning needs without having to have a really high-end CMM machine ($100K+).

Thank you for take EinScan-Pro as an alternative in the review. @Aniwaa “The recently introduced EinScan-Pro by Shining 3D could become an interesting alternative, for use cases when metrology-grade performance is not required. Sure, the overall performance is strongly in favor of the Space Spider but the EinScan-Pro has a smooth user experience and costs less than a third of the Spider.”- Aniwaa

EinScan-Pro is the world’s first multi-functional Handheld 3D Scanner, It’s more flexible that by using the design style of module, users can freely combine the different modules according to their needs: industrial pack, color pack, free scan pack and automotive scan pack. Stl printable model can be output directly from EinScan-Pro, as well as the original scan data outputting for design. It’s world’s first 3D scanner having such features.
