Replicator 2 stops during print-Software?

My Replicator 2 has developed a new problem. For larger prints, it stops early in the print, just stops moving. When I scaled the same model down to 20% size, it printed fine. It always stops at the same point.

I tried to upgrade the firmware (from 7.0) but got a communication error that I have not resolved.

Any thoughts appreciated.

This is commonly caused by an SD card error. Particularly if it stops on the same files, of the same print.

Reformat the SD card, or replace it.

A sign it is an SD card problem is if it stops printing, just sits there, but you can still see the screen, no errors.
