I am wanting to know if I can replace the heat bed on my CTC Bizer Dual printer (230x150mm) with any generic bed or does it need to be specific to the printer?
Have had no recent good prints in ABS unless the bed is heated to 140c which I am told is not good and can burn it out.

If the bed is getting hot then that sounds like a problem with with your temperature sensor not the heater. I’m unfamiliar with your equipment but if this is all stock (which would rule out firmware settings) I would just try replacing the sensor. Do you have IR thermometer to check the temp of the bed? If it doesn’t match then you know it’s the sensor.

140? Are you sure? Stick firmware doesn’t support that hot. But what mindful said. I have a thing on thingiverse explaining how to fix the HBP
