Wonderful! That spool took about $1.50 to make and stopped the old prints from going to the garbage! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts after you use it all up!
I don’t have a lot of waste but, normaly I trow it away, I would love to send it next time.
Maybe you could place an add on a 3D printers marketplace I created.
Its for everything 3D printer relates, as well filamentextruder etc.
Because we all have spare parts or filament we doen’t use (anymore) we did create a website where we can easily get rid of those leftovers.
So its basicly a classified website for 3D printers and accessoires.
Its really just up a few hours so there are just a few ads on this moment.
Feel free te add your spares you don’t use anymore and/or share the link with others.
Jason: I do have a variety of “old” PLA filament that I can give you for your recycling project; it’s aged and brittle and just doesn’t work well . I live in Sugar Land and am often in downtown Houston these days. Will be at Station Houston all day next Saturday if that’s a good location to meet – just let me know so I can pack all the materials up for you.
But I have something better for you – please demo your set-up and product at Houston Mini Maker Faire. We’re at the GRB on 11/12-13 and are planning for 10,000 attendees. A great setting to show your stuff – many (including me) will be very interested. Google the event for more info or click on this link: http://www.houstonmakerfaire.com/makers-2/ or get back to me with any questions.
