Can anyone recommend where to buy good quality flexible (and other) filaments, or at least name one or 2 recommended types for FFCP?
There are numerous good quality flexible filament suppliers and from my experience (and I have tested many) they all preform pretty much the same, this was a good vid from makers muse which tested 6 different filaments Flexible 3D Printing Filaments Tested - Which Flex is Best? - YouTube .
I have started a hub that specializes is flex only and it is definitely more about the extruder than filament quality for good salable quality prints.
In general I use Hatchbox and eSun filaments. Mostly eSun now. I don’t use much flexible but have worked with Ninja-Flex and Semi-Flex. You will most likely need to modify the stock extruder a little to get flexibles to work reliably. You can google it or search thingiverse for info.
I used Ninjatek Cheetha and it works if you reduce the printing speed to 40mm/s. Be careful with the space between nozzle and bed. If the distance is too short, you will get problems removing the first layer.
