Hey guys,
Here is a picture of an order that came through 3D Hubs a few months ago. It’s called Zoo-Bot (http://zoo-bot.net/, still under construction). It made me wonder what was the scope of possibilities when Raspberry Pi is allied with 3D Printing.
Have you got some cool examples ?

I think the two go hand in hand Raspberry Pi opens doors to people in terms of programming in the atmosphere in 1’s and 0’s, 3D printing does the same except you see the process happening in front of you instead electronically through a circuitboard. the freedom of creation in essence is the same, the only challenge with both is the users on ability to imagine what they can do. Limited by our cerebral power, one can only look to others to inspire the inner beast of design.
This is the best thing ever http://imgur.com/a/3lblZ

Don’t you need your USB connection?
Totally agree with @Gfisherwils !
I have no nice examples yet; only dull ones!
Kind regards, Guy
No working examples yet, but I will try to make things like
- automated watering depending on water sensors
- automated door bells with camera, real time play on TV, email sending with image capture
- automated lights
- …
Those projects are not forgotten… just waiting to be realized.
I totally agree with you. Since I bought my printer, I thought to learn electronics so my printer could do the housings!
