After their kickstarter they are now delivering their first batch of 50 printers and put up their new site with the consumer prices and discounts for pre-orders
Werner this talk seems to only be including us two and any raisers from kickstarter. So info like this we already know from the campaign thank anyways for the copy and paste. lets talk about some thing new like what type of fillament have you purchased
I’m watching this very closely to see the first reviews that come out. I have high hopes for this machine and plan on getting one soon.
Any idea if either of you are part of the first 50?
Hi Josh,
No i am not with the first 50, those were only N2 (the medium sized) ones
Mine is not expected to be shipped in china till februari so hope to receive it end of march/begin april
I am hoping too that some of the first 50 chose air shipping and are willing to test and review it somewhere
Hi,
I havent bought any yet but checking prices and reviews on alot of sites, a few listed below:
http://www.reprap.cc/shop/de/shop/produkte/28
Prob wont buy any untill later when they shipped the printer.
I chose to save on shipping and get it by boat (so the 2nd extruder and tunell monitor are kinda free)
I didnt like the setup of the camera so cancelled that add-on for now
edit: i am planning to make props so need something thats resistant to heat like if you leave it in a car 70-80+ celcius and it needs to be strong but low weight and not snap too quick
I am part of the 2nd 50shipping of n2. My estimated ship date was for january i expect (hope) they will ship it then and probably take 2 weeks for delivery to the us. I feel i have definitely made a good choice they are known for there upgrades to printers and finnaly making a printer on their own. Thats like a racing parts company finnaly pushing out a race car with all there ideas and technology packed into it. At least thats how i see it. I spoke to many people at 3d printer shows or trade shows and showed them the video and they all were super impressed.
