Hello, I have been trying to upload my file for a quote, it is telling me the file is to big and I notice that it cm, I have been requesting inches.

Hi Markus, @Alex3DHubs or @Robin3D will definitely be able to help, if you send us the file. Cheers

Attached, is a copy of the file.
Finger Grip Fixture New 11 19 14.STL (1.03 MB)

I would like to have it printed in white ABS, glossy if possible, at a high resolution.

Hi Markus, thank you for getting in touch with us.

I checked out your model and it looks like you might have modelled the file in another measurement unit than inches. Can you tell me what size the model is supposed to be? Then I can scale it to the correct size for you and you shouldn’t have any trouble uploading it to 3D Hubs

Hi guys, did you sort this out?

7.556" x 6.2" x 1.0" thick, at the towers the width is 8.46"

Hi Markus,

I’ve checked out your model and the measurements are correct. 8.46" converts to 21.5 cm. And this is shown on the website when you upload your model.

Please do let me know if you have any further questions.

Best,

Robin

So is this too big to print then?

Not at all, it’s perfectly printable. If you upload the model to the website and go to www.3dhubs.com/3dprint you will automatically receive a list of Hubs that are able to print the model. The printers with a building plate that is to small for your model are automatically filtered out of the results.

This is where my problem began, I uploaded to the HuB and nothing popped up in my area or even unlimited distance that would be able to print for me. Can you help?

Hey Markus, did you try uploading the model I attached to my previous post? Please make sure you have mm selected as your measurement unit (which is the default setting). If you still don’t see any results, please contact me via robin@3dhubs.com and we’ll get this all sorted out
