I got a QIDI x-one2 as my first 3d printer back in February, but I haven’t come across a forum with any owners that can help me with some of my issues, so I came here in hopes of getting some help : ).
My most recent issue have been filament jams. I started having a few not too long ago, but I looked up ways to clean them up. While that works great, it started getting really bad and I was wondering why. So I opened up the enclosure for my stepper motor that feeds the filament into the extruder and realized that one of the bottom end screws that goes through the front cooling fan, through the heatsink & heating element, into the Stepper motor.
For some reason my screws no longer seem to be long enough to catch the threads on the motor. This seems weird, as the length obviously hasn’t changed… but has anyone seen any issue like this? Because one of the screws does not tighten, the motor rocks at times while printing causing another jam.
