Have ran across an issue with my QIDI tech x one-2 printer. It started printing parts as I walked away from the printer. I came back by the room to find the power was off. So I checked the plug and changed the fuse with no luck. I then took the bottom off to test power with meter. All seemed to be getting power in the right places. So being the light sucked in the room I was in. I moved it to the dinning room to do more test. I moved the print head forward and the power came back on. I Can move it forward it stays on. But at about mid point of the print bed. The power turns back off. Not even getting close to the limit switch. I am going to remove the print head case now to check if the connection is loose now. But beyond that I have no idea. Any one else know what it could be?

Update Issue found it is the cable that I have replaced already one time before going to the X axis. It is shorting out as the head moves back. looks like I will have to make a new cable for it.

It is common for these cables to go bad from flexing. I tried to adjust how mine attach and move to reduce the flex points.
