First time printing I decided to try out the ABS that came with the printer. I set the platform temperature at 110c, which is what it suggested. When it was heating up, the blue platform cover came off completely, starting at the edges by curling up. Is that normal??
Yes it will do that when brand new, just the adhesive hasn’t quite adapted to the high temperature. Stick it back down (carefully!) at about 80C then raise temp to 110 and stick down any corners that come up - careful not to burn yourself here! After that you should find it stays down even at high temperature. I’ve found 110 is not really necessary anyway, 100 degrees is plenty 99% of the time printing ABS.

Mine did something something similar but i only took mine to 95c. It starts to peel/bubble where the screw holes are i replaced it once but did it again so i replaced it with a glass panel which so far has been much better.
