Hi, I recently stumbled accros some 8mm thick x 600mm long ptfe solid rod. Would this be suitable for use as linear rails as PTFE is very slippery and would guide very smoothly plus it’s so easy to cut to size. Thanks for the help, James

I highly doubt it would be very stiff esp compared to a metal one.
