Hi Everyone!
As this is my first ever printer, I thought the Original Prusa i3 (http://shop.prusa3d.com/) would be a good choice with regards to Print quality/ flexible material capability/ Ease of use - calibration - assembly, from what I read. It does not have a dual extruder but perhaps that could be upgraded later.
I am really interested in getting consistent good prints both PLA/ABS as well as flexible materials and more exotic stuff. I don’t mind calibrating/working on it here and then, but I don’t want to do that all the time…Do you think it can realistically print 50 micron high quality prints?
So far I can’t find many cons regarding this specific printer. If anyone has more info, it would be much appreciated before I go ahead and buy it! Thanks a lot!!!
Those are good quality, I’m sure. They are from the original designer obviously. Yeah, I assume you will have to do some setup and calibration, but that is all part of the fun. Most prints can print at 50 micron layer height, but it is a waste of time, and nearly nobody prints at that resolution. Let me know if you have any other questions.
