prusa i3 clone print quality

i am relatively new to 3d printing but have my printer setup close to ok. the problem is the prints look good on the right side but very uneven on the left side. i have set the bed level many times to try sort the problem but it makes no difference. all other aspects of the print is good enough. any tips on how to fix the problem would be appreciated. attached is a picture of the problem. the print was done @0.2mm layer hight and 25mm/s

There is not much you can do to correct the “left” side, the model is printed with the knob away from the bed so basically the “left” side is being printed in the air since you are not using supports. Adding a part /filament cooling fan in addition to the extruder fan will reduce the larger droops and clean it up some.
