Hii there,

I’m trying to print out a ton of coins for a tournament that I’m organizing.

However, the coins always have burrs.

How can I remove the burrs without any handwork? (because we print so much of them that it’s quite a problem to do it all by hand).

It’s just an aesthetic thing but we want the coins to look as polished as possible!

Cheers

Hi @KaasInEenHoedje can you upload a photo of a piece with the problem, it’ll help a lot to diagnose. If by burrs you mean blobs on the side of the coins, that may be over-extrusion (or a lack of retraction), but it’ll help a lot to see a photo.

Its most likely the seam from layer changes and will always be there to some extent

It’s closer to stringing.

Some other folks here gave me some advice on how to decrease the effect  (increased retraction and lower temperature for example)

Thanks anyways
