HI, so I recently put my anet a8 3d printer together. My issue is that when I go to make a print if I print from either the SD card or the actual computer The print will start. Once started it prints in the front left corner as well as when its printing its not printing the right item its printing uneven rectangles. Please help have been trying different things for a couple of days.

Ok, let’s see… this behavior could have different reasons…
First of all, install Pronterface (http://www.pronterface.com/). This is a free tool to connect to your printer and directly control it. With this tool installed, try to move your different axis and check if the movement direction and the amount of movement is correct (pressing Z-Up with 10mm should move your print head up for 10mm, and so on…).
If everything works, you know at least that the motors are connected correctly.
You can also tell us which Slicer you are using and please post your Start-GCode, so we can have a look at your start code.
