I have a Prusa i3 that broke during a move into NYC. I’ve disassembled it for parts as I don’t think I can plan to print in my new, tiny apartment. Please contact me if you are interested in parts or a few reels of PLA that I have available.

Hi Neal,

can you list, what of the printer is still usable (you said, that the printer broke). I would be interested in the motors and some electronics, maybe even the hotend. It would be very good, if you could post some pictures and maybe estimate a pricing, what you expect to get for the parts (especially for the ones, that I would like to have). I live in the EU, but I would of course cover the shipment cost.

Cheers,

Yup what Marius said, post some more info on what you have left, what’s working and what filament you have and I may take some off your hands!

I am interested in the filament.

Hi Marius,

I have pretty much everything. The motion sensors seem fine, the motors and metal frame rods are fine. It is mostly the plastic printed parts that were damaged, having been weakened already by over tightening.

My hotness electronics and ceramics are fine, although I had a lot of trouble with flow on my Prusa i3 that I could not well resolve after trouble shooting. (I have several thicknesses of different tubing that I tried to resolve it and have plenty extra of them).

I bought it all together, and I’d rather just see what the going offer is for anyone interested in any of the parts. I’m not sure is fair for second-hand market. If anyone knows a good reference for this, feel free to share. I’m mostly trying to get a little bit back and help out some fellow makers before I get going again. I thought it would be local and maybe meet some local makers, but I am willing to ship.

Hi Joseph,

I have a neon green, and a blue that’s bright, but I wouldn’t call it neon. Both PLA. Are you in NYC?
