Hey there 3dHubbers, I’ve been a frequent visitor to 3D Hubs but never posted anything before. There’s a lot of valuable data here on printers and markets. I wanted to know, does anyone have information on the build volumes of prints that get made here? For example, do 90% of parts made fit into the sub 100cm^3 category… Thanks, AbeNz
Hey @Xenophanes,
We actually don’t have this data public, but you could check out what printers are the most popular on the platform here: 3D printing trend report | Hubs
From what I see here I would say that it does appear that most of the activity is in that kind of range of volume indeed , although increasingly bigger projects are getting printed as well

Thanks for the link @Arnoldas. For some reason I thought that the trend report has been stopped. I used to receive it as a monthly email. Good to know that the information is still available Thanks, Xenophanes
Bigger is better. Being able to print big puts you at an advantage over other hubs and lets you print items with a larger profit margin. Plus, most larger printers are made with heavier construction and can deliver better quality smaller prints.
