While the M200 is one of the best printers on the market, Zortrax is fooling the whole community, competition and cheats their users about the real print resolution of the printer! The specs tell the printer is capable of 0.09 mm layers and other resolutions are 0.39, 0.29, 0.19 and 0.14 while the competition is at 0.40, 0.30, 0.20, 0.14 and 0.10 accordingly. Slicing an object in Z-Suite with a height of 10mm shows that M200 layer sizes are just that of the competition, means 100 layers for that object if sliced with 0.09 setting and it’s the same issue with the other layer settings. What a fake!

Yes, it’s true. But, as you say, “M200 is one of the best printers on the market”.

Marketing is not a good drug…
And does this mean if selling one of the best printers, cheating is o.k.?
Zortrax is well known for doing this not only once. It was the same with the promised (advertised) 50 micron software update that will never happen, as well as with WiFi support.

No, it is not OK, but what you want to hear? Yes, they are cheaters. 50 micron & wifi is more serious cheating for me. I can always vote with feet, but M200 still good without this promises.
This is just for making people aware of it. I think most of the hubs that operate a M200 are even not aware of this.
What if they offer their services to their customers with wrong specs (layer resolution) and one of their customers would feel cheated? We do not have to discuss the qualities of the M200 and if you care about it or not and if the wrong layer sizes make a difference.
It is about to be aware of it and not giving wrong specs to others with a difference of more than 10% wich would always be an issue if a customer complains about it.
