For this year’s Day of the Orchid, 3D artist and creative director of 3D Systems Janne Kyttanen collaborated with Orchid growers throughout the whole country. He has designed a futuristic cloud installation to honor the flower with endless variations. This piece of art will consist of 150 pots, all filled with orchids. The installation will be exhibited at Felix & Foam in Amsterdam.

For the production of the pots, Janne Kyttanen turned to 3D Hubs. So if you feel like participating in producing an art piece, this is your chance! For every pot you print, you will earn €45. The minimum amount is 3 though.
Deadline to deliver (or ship) the pots to 3D Hubs HQ is September 1st.

Drop me a line at luuk@3dhubs.com and I will fill you in on the details.

Thanks!

Seems like one for local printers to you - I took part in the egg one which was fun and hope to see it in Venice!

@James_2 yeah it’s a local project. Amsterdam and surrounding cities. Egg project is really cool too!
