Hi, just got my first 3d printer, it’s the prima creator p120, also called the monoprice select mini. Although impressed with the quality of the build, I’ve had 7 failed builds from 8. I’ve emailed the supplier but they are on shutdown for two weeks. I’ve noticed that the power supply is a 12v 7a which seems quite a low amp for running two heaters and motors? Also the power supply indicator light goes off and on when the printer resets ruining the build. Is it safe to assume a faulty psu? Or could the printer turn the psu off and on ? I’m assuming the 12v wires going to the printer are only + and - and it doesn’t have any control wires. Cheers, any other ideas ?
