Can someone upload a few stl files small and large so I can use 3D hub’s calculator to find a price I am comfortable with?

Depending on what slicer you are using, you can see the used material, from that you can calculate the pricing.

The settings for the normal pricing are usually 20% infill and 1mm outer shell thickness, or similar.

Why don’t you go to the 3D Print button upload two files yourself and type in where you are located and see how much your hub quotes you compared to the rest. Thats what I do for my pricing.

Duh, sorry for the dumb question. I just didn’t know whether I’d be entering a transaction or something by doing that. Thanks.

Thanks, I was very surprised at other’s prices, and I think I priced myself very competitively. What I’m wondering, is what if someone wants a solid object, because the cost is calculated at 20% infill.

I don’t know about this apart. But I suppose if the customer wants that, they could comment on the order then you charge more for the extra material you use (for 100%) when the order is in progress. However I don’t know how you could get the price off the extra material ( apart from guessing).

There is a Marvin test print file in the top right corner that you can drag into the uploader and see what the local prices are!
