Hi,
I’m having issues with our new envisiontec printer.
I have new epic material which is mixed well before beginning print cycles. The first layer or base seems to stick to the glass and fails to print. Or the model half printed will be stuck to the glass after printing. I had this issue and cleaned the metal platform with alcohol and it seemed to work after that but now it isn’t anymore. 3 failed prints in a row… Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello…in this case most probably your home position need to be recalibrated… reason behind this problem is a gap between platform and glass tray is high… recalibrate home position and try it again. Also if you are cleaning platform with alcohol then care should be taken. alcohol should not be mixed with material… else it will damage it. Regards, Mayur

Thank you so much! I will try to recalibrate. I always clean the platform away from the resin and make sure it is dry before setting up a print. Thanks again
Hello, You may also want to try supporting the parts with more densely populated support structures, and applying the card base so that your supports are attaching to the card rather than the build platform. This really helps with rings and molds for casting. Hope this helps
