I’m printing some bowls, cups, and pots with PLA and I don’t think that it would hold water as is. Paint probably helps, but I’m looking for something more substantial. Has anyone had any luck with anything that they have applied, like epoxy or some sort of coating, to their 3D prints that makes them watertight?

Hi @eviglotti one of the most popular products for sealing 3D prints is this stuff, XTC-3D:
It’s not all that nice to work with and you have to get the mixture percentages spot on, but when it’s good, it’s very good.
Thanks so much everyone. Turns out my prints with default settings seem to be watertight already, I just don’t trust it. I tried an experiment with Titebond III wood glue as a layer on one, I tried XTC-3D on another and liquid wood epoxy on another (Amazon.com) and all 3 seem to work fine. I think XTC-3d will be my choice as it doesn’t drip down like wood glue and it’s more suited for 3d printed parts anyway.
