Portland market, strange down turn in order numbers

Hello,

I’m interested to hear from other Portland, OR hubs on how business has been during July. We usually have between 2 and 6 orders a week but have not received a single order in July. This has been some what concerning to me.

We made some slight adjustments to how our pricing works, but it doesn’t really affect the cost of an order from us by more than a dollar or two. We are still one of the most competitively priced hubs in Portland.

I’d love to hear if anyone else has been experiencing anything like this the past month.

I am in Atlanta and noticed the total of orders here was down in July. I think it may be a mid summer thing with people on vacation. 3dhubs had a coupon for 10$ off with a coupon co. that was only for July. One client used it with me.

Same thing down in Sunnyvale, California. We used to receive one or two orders a week, then nothing for the past four weeks.

Some have suggested that it’s because school is out, but most of my customers were engineers looking for one-offs.

If you anonymously upload a STL-file and start searching for a Hub in your area, at what position is your Hub listed?

We are pretty much always first on the list in our area. Yeah it sounds like a lot of Hubs are experiencing this
