Hi guys,
I have some 3D printing experience and 2 printers, one of them is built with kits. Now I am looking for the next 3D printer. This printer will be mostly for engineering parts that’s less than 200x150x150mm.
Usually my work flow is:
- CAD
- Slicing for g-code
- Cold printing with PLA for quick concept verification
- Printing with ABS for most utility test
- Printing with PC for some tough test ,eg. bike parts.
Here’s my thoughts for the printer:
- Enclosed chamber to get stable temperature quickly.
- Good printing quality and durable.
- 2 extruders for supporting material (optional)
- Open source based firmware so I can update setting and temperature limitation to 300˚C
Looking forward for printer recommendation. Thanks.
