Hello, i got my first 3D Printer yesterday (Alfawise EX8) and after assembling it i selected the option “Preheat PLA” and at first the nozzle and bed started heating without problems, but then the nozzle dropped its temperature after reaching the 190 degrees and then i shut it down.
From that point when i turn it on and try to select preheat pla the bed starts heating but the nozzle doesn’t start to heat and after almost half a minute the screen show an error:“E1 Heating Failed Printer Halted Please Reset”.
This printer has Marlin 1.1.9 on it.
I checked with a multimeter and there is tension all the way to the heater that should heat up the hotend, but still it may be that it doesn’t heat fast enough and the software outputs the error after some seconds not rising.
This should be all I know, if someone could help me in any way it would be much appreciated.
Hallo, i have the same problem with the headbett.It was the Mainboard. Before you chance the board you can flash a new firmware . If dosen’t help change the board.
