I need to pick your brain. We would like to use PLA filament on the FlashForge instead of the ABS as that is the material we have to use. Here is the dilemma – We are using ReplicatorG. In order to change the platform temp we have to go into the Gcode and manually change it in the software for each print, something we really don’t want our patrons to do. Also, after changing the platform temp in ReplicatorG, the printer itself does not follow that code and defaults to the ABS platform temp. We have tried to make the change on the printer itself, but have not been able to find where in the settings to change the platform temp. One thing we are wondering: Is the platform temp that crucial? I know PLA is more pliable than ABS, but will that platform temp setting really make that much of a difference? We are trying to get this set up for our patrons to use. Awaiting answers from this forum. Thank you.
